I suppose I should impose this to a med. professional, is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome the same as EPV?
I have a diagnoses of Epstein Barr Virus and am wondering if it is the same as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) There are not any medical tests available to support true evidence of the CFS but there is for EBV. It seems to be the same, especially with my symptoms. Does anyone have any info?

I suppose I should add that I have had the mono the accompanies EPV, it does not go away for moths because I am in my 40’s, neither does the swollen glands seem to subside for any length of time and same with the fatigue, it just keeps on dragging me down!

I ahve not ehard that they are one and the same. However, my daughter had Epstein-Barr Virus and what I DO know about it is that it can ‘turn into’ Mononucleosis. And that would be bad, since it takes over 3 weeks to get rid of and is very contagious. Her Epstein-Barr went away after about a month and she is back to normal. It was a very bad month though. I hope you feel better soon.
